uses the following moves and mechanics:
Light Pillar: Several players will be marked with red crosshairs, and a short while later a small AoE will be targeted on them. Also uses several to show off at the start of the fight.
Aether Bend: Small AoE with no cast time centered on Proto Ultima.
Aetherochemical Laser: Line AoE aimed at a random party member.
Aetherochemical Flare: Party-wide moderate damage.
Diffractive Laser: Conal cleave attack for heavy damage.
Eikonizer: Used at the start of phase 2 (at 40%). Deals heavy raidwide damage, reduced by stacking on the orb itself.
Flare Star: Used immediately after Eikonizer, heavy raid-wide damage reduced by being as far away as possible. Used twice, first targeting the middle of the arena, and then targeting the east and west sides.
Aetherial Pool: Used alongside Flare Star, damages players standing around the edges of the arena.
Citadel Buster: Used after the second Flare Star, firing in a line from south to north through both of the second Flare Star's safe zones.
Allagan Dreadnaught: Two are summoned on the east and west sides after Citadel Buster. Both use the standard dreadnaught moves Rotoswipe and Wrecking Ball, and should be grabbed by the off-tanks.
Touchdown: Lands, dealing minor damage to players near the middle. Used immediately after summoning the dreadnaughts.
Supernova: Heavy raid-wide damage, used shortly after Touchdown. Used again during the final phase at 25% HP, though this version charges much slower and will wipe the raid if it goes off.
Proto Bit: Five bits will be summoned around the arena which use Integrated Aetheromodulator, dealing damage in a narrow donut AoE around themselves, as well as Diffractive Laser. All bits will disappear once Proto Ultima is taken below 25% HP.
Aether Collector: Three will spawn during the final phase of the fight (25% HP), rendering Ultima invincible until defeated.
For the first phase, just worry about dodging AoEs while DPSing Proto Ultima down. Once he hits 40% and enters phase 2, everyone should stack in the middle for Eikonizer, then immediately run as far north or south as they safely can to avoid both rounds of Flare Star. Focus on the Dreadnoughts first, but ignore the bits and just take Proto Ultima down to 25% as soon as you can to enter the third and final phase. There's no damage incoming here, so just go as hard DPS as you can to disable the Aether Collectors and use your limits to take out Proto Ultima before he can get off Supernova.
