Far too many of these baseborn recruits cannot be trusted to take up the bow for anyone but themselves, and I expect half could not tell a quiver from a wineskin. 'Twould prove a blessing if any could puncture the wings of the smaller outflyers while the knights handle the wyrms of monstrous size.
