How to Participate

Start by accepting the quest Impish Impositions given by any of the following NPCs. The quest is the same regardless of which nation you've received it from. Additionally, with the quest active you can partake in the event in any city-state.

You are then given instructions to seek out disguised trickster imps inside the city-states. Disguised imps only being to appear during nighttime, which is roughly between 19:00~5:00. You would notice by hearing the a laughter sfx, as well as the tinted fog looming over the city. Once discovered, the imps would provide you a riddle. Upon answering correctly the imp would disappear and you'll receive 9 cookies. Addition 3 cookies can be obtained from the Treat Basket left behind, which anyone participating in the quest can grab.

Treat Basket only remains for a small duration before it vanishes, about 30 game minutes, and another disguised imp would appear at another random fixed location. You can only obtain cookies once from each unique Treat Basket.

Disguised Trickster Imps

Disguised Trickster Imps appears as normal NPCs with a generic name starting with the word "Suspicious", such as "Suspicious Songstress" or "Suspicious Scholar".

They appear in random fixed locations. As they spawn in they would announce themselves in the /say channel. Such as "Trickster Imp: Life... Dreams... Imps... Where do they come from? And where do they go?" or "Trickster Imp: An imp, you say? I could've sworn I saw one nearby not a moment ago. Ahee hee hee!"

Additionally, once disguised they would laugh periodically broadcasting the text "Suspicious _____: Ahee hee hee!" if you were within listening range of the /say channel.

They will lose their disguise after the first PC speaks to them, which also the first PC would be the one answering the riddle.

After a given time is up, the riddle question and answer choices would also be broadcasted to the public in a the color of a system message. If the riddle isn't answered promptly the imp would disappear and no prize nor Treat Basket would be rewarded.
