Anima is a character's self-replenishing life-force. When not at the maximum of 100, a character recovers a few anima points every several hours.

Anima is consumed by using any of the following actions:

  • Teleporting oneself* from any location to a previously visited Aetheryte Crystal (Typically 4 points, but cost depends on your current location and the destination)
  • Using the Return command on the main menu (2 points), except when K.O.'d, in which case it is free.

* Accepting a teleport offer from another player is free.
