Once initiated, a duty must be completed (or abandoned).

Many duties are also assigned to a category of [[File:Duty roulette icon.png|15px|link=]] [[Duty Roulette]], which will randomly place the party into an appropriate level duty and, upon completion, issue a reward of XP and currencies.</onlyinclude>
