The HUD, or Heads-Up Display, consists of all the on-screen indicators used to indicate the status of you, your party, and the game that are generally shown at most times during gameplay. On-screen at all times, the HUD is one of the primary components of the GUI.
HUD Indicators
Guildleve Status(1): Shows the leve currently in your possession and your progress on guildleve activities.
HP Bar (2): Your Hit Points, or the measure of your character's ability to take damage (LP in the German version).
MP Bar (3): Appears to be Magic Points, or the measure of your character's capacity to cast spells.
TP Bar (4): Unknown purpose at this time
Compass Radar (5): Shows direction you're facing and nearby targets.
Hotbar (6): appears to have icons for a variety of actions that can be performed by the player.
Target Status (7): Shows the name and a bar with the target's remaining life.
Action Gauges (8, horizontal bar): One for each hand, displays cast time of action use.
Power Gauges(8, curved bar): Affects power and accuracy of actions that are used.
Log Window (9): Keeps track of chat, game messages, and combat details.
Quest Progress window (10) Appears onscreen to inform you of progress in a quest as it happens (Also shown in the guildleve status area).
Party Status (Upper right, not shown above): Shows the status of party members.
Targeting Reticule (Not shown above): Appears over your current target to distinguish it from other mobs/objects nearby.
