  • lightning orbs deal damage to anyone touching the puddle
Ancient Flare A massive AoE that hits for heavy damage unless the player is standing in a Puddle, then they take only 10% damage of the original hit.
Daybreak Scylla's ultimate. Players must stand on their groups pads to create a barrier to save everyone from being hit by a ~15 second petrification. A minimum of 4 players must be standing on each pad to create the barrier. After Daybreak, a Dark General and Oceanus adds will spawn. Either burn them down at your pad or bring them to the center to nuke with a caster LB.
Staff of Elderings Spawn randomly and roam about the arena performing ring-AoE damage maneuvers. Ignore the staves and dodge the rings. If you wish to reduce the ring-AoE dodging part of the fight, you can kill the staves, but it will lengthen the fight.

Advice and Tips

  • Make sure to charge the lightning pillars to save the alliance from Daybreak.
  • Don't stand in puddles except for Ancient Flare so they aren't all destroyed prematurely.
  • With the speed that players can down Scylla now, it is likely that you won't even see Daybreak or, if you do, that it won't have time to finish casting before you kill her.

Prior to engaging, it is recommended to apply the waymarks to the three small circles located at each corner of the triangle emblazoned on the floor.


Attack Name Description
??? Very obvious AoEs that spawn under players. Spawns multiples at a time.
Donut AoE A donut AoE that spawns around the boss. Either be very close in or move further away. No obvious indicator, so be careful.
Clockwork Wrights Multiple Wrights will spawn at a time with a tether connected to the boss. One player must step into the small AoE circle around it to stun both themselves and the add, preventing the tether and the transfer of energy to the boss (which fills the Glasya Labolas Charge Bar found in the Duty List). Everyone else should work on killing the adds quickly. Also gives the player standing in it Electrocution, a lightning DoT.
Clockwork Squires When the Squires spawn, the boss will become invulnerable with 3 tethers stretching between him and small contraptions along the edge of the arena. Players must kill their Squire and then position it between their pad and the contraption with the tether to divert the power to the launch pad. The adds health will freeze at 1% until they are in the proper position.
Deathstream AoE blast that does damage based on how much the Charge Bar has filled.
  • First Deathstream: comes after the Clockwork Wrights
  • Second Deathstream: comes after the Clockwork Squires. As the Charge Bar will always fill to 100% for this, players must kill the Squires and charge their launch pad to prevent being wiped. On launch, groups will be moved to the Outer Platforms.
  • Third Deathstream: same as the first.
Outer Platforms groups should move clockwise and kill the adds that spawn on each platform. When players land on the platform, they begin casting a spell that will cause an electrocution DoT to be applied to everyone on the platform. After all adds are killed, players are free to return to the center platform by standing on one of the launch pads that points back to the middle of the room.
Spinning Wheels A mobile AoE of bright yellow will slowly move around the arena, damaging players caught in its wake multiple times. Eventually more will spawn.

Advice and Tips

  • Stay either close or far away from him to dodge the Donut AoE.
  • One person should stand in each of the Wright puddles to prevent the boss charging.
  • Make sure to bring the Squires to their proper locations after bringing them to 1%. You can tell they're in the right place when the tether flips from targeting the boss to targeting the Squire and a second contraption.
  • With the speed players can kill this boss now, you likely will not need to do the mechanics of the second Deathstream at all.

Attack Name Description
??? AoE centered on the boss. If he is standing in the middle of the room, it is as large as the circle on the carpet.
Slimes Very important to kill before they reach the boss. Can be slowed. If they reach Amon, they will do various alliance-wide damaging mechanics.
Kum Kums Have a lot of health and do a lot of damage. Offtanks should pick them up. Hit with Purple Orbs to make them easier (and safer) to kill.
Purple Orb Tether Will mini any player the orb strikes, causing them to take more damage and do less damage. Should be used to shrink the Kum Kums.
Bomb Debuff Targets 1 random player in each group. Detonates repeatedly when near other players for a decent amount of damage and knockback to everyone in the vicinity. Should be dispelled ASAP.
Ice Blocks Players marked with an orange marker will be turned into ice blocks, which is needed to avoid Curtain Call. Happens at the same time players are changed into Flame Toads.
Flame Toads Changes a player into a flame toad with only the skill Flame Breath available to them, which damages everything (including other players) in a cone in front of them. Can be used to unfreeze people trapped in Ice Blocks. Must run away from Kichinebiks.
Kichinebik Giant snake adds that spawn. Each picks a Toad and will chase them until they are dead, hitting the Toad for heavy damage if they catch up.
Curtain Call Amon's ultimate, casts at 25%. Players must LoS the move by standing behind an Ice Block.

Advice and Tips

  • Keep the boss centered to keep as much distance as possible on the Slimes.
  • If an Ice Block is in his hitbox, do not stand in it. It will not provide protection from Curtain Call and players hiding behind it will die.
  • Hit Kum Kums with Purple Orbs to shrink them and make them easier to kill.
  • Healers need to dispell the Bomb Debuff ASAP.

Attack Name Description
Knucklepress Superlong line AoE. Will do a massive knockback across the arena along with damage if you are hit.
Burning Rave Spawns multiple generic AoEs under players.
Ancient Quake Roomwide AoE.
Yellow Orbs Multiple yellow orbs will spawn, floating in the middle of a circle with a dotted line. When a player stands in it, the circle will light up. One player must stand in each circle to prevent an alliance-wide AoE. Standing in the circle will cause the player to take a small amount of damage. Each circle without a player that detonates will do a significant amount of damage to the alliance; 3-4 going off will likely cause a wipe.
Stonefall Circle Spawns when Xande teleports away at 70% and 30%. Should be killed before the Starfall Circle. If the meteor above it reaches the ground before it is killed, it will deal heavy alliance-wide AoE damage. The first time, he will spawn 3 Stonefalls; each group should take a stonefall and kill it. The second time he will spawn 6 Stonefalls, so each group will be in charge of killing 2 of them. After killing all the meteors, Xande will return to the arena.
Starfall Circle Spawns when Xande teleports away at 70% and 30%. Should be killed after the Stonefall Circles. If the meteor above it reaches the ground before it is killed, it will wipe the alliance. After killing all the meteors, Xande will return to the arena.
Levitation Three players, one from each group, will be marked by an obvious black AoE with a large black ball over their heads. Players should bring these AoEs to the center, making a clump around the boss. At least four players should stand in the circle when it explodes as the damage is shared. Afterwards, it will create a floating pad that players should immediately stand on to avoid Ancient Quagga.
Ancient Quagga Always follows the Levitation puddles. Will instakill anyone not standing on a floating pad. Always followed by Burning Rave.

Advice and Tips

  • There should always be at least one player in each of the Yellow Orbs.
  • If your group finishes their Stonefalls early, they should help out other groups that are struggling to kill their own.
