Attack Name Description
Analysis Surrounds all players with a 3/4th yellow circle marker, with either their front, back, or one side missing the other 1/4th of the circle. Players must turn the missing side of the circle to face the boss to take massive damage and be stunned for ~2 seconds. If players fail to do so, they will die instantly and your body will be hurled to the other side of the arena. He will move around the arena, so be prepared to turn to face him properly. Players also receive a debuff that will display which side is your "safe" side from the image and if you read the mouseover text.
Maintenance Multiple adds will appear around the edges of the room in addition to the four broken robots near each corner of the platform. Mustadio will tether to multiple adds, causing them to activate. The color of the tether dicatates which kind of add Mustadio is activating. Players will need to determine which of the adds are activated and figure out where the safe spots are to stand between the AoEs.
  • Orange Tether: extends to adds on the edge of the room. When activated, they will shoot out large line AoE's from one side of the arena to the other (1x4 if you are looking at the floor squares).
  • Blue Tether: extends to the robots around the corners of the room. Will only ever activate two at once. These will use large square AoEs that take up 1/4 of the room (2x2 if you are looking at the floor squares).

Arm Shot Tankbuster. Deals heavy damage.
Right/Left Handgonne Massive 200°+ AoE from either side of the boss, depending on the name of the cast. The AoE will go down his center and out the back, with the front cleaving additional space to force the MT to move as well. Always happen one after the other.
  • Right: AoE will appear on the right side. Players should move to the left of the boss.
  • Left: AoE will appear on the left side. Players should move to the right of the boss.
Spotlight Multiple players will be briefly marked with a red target marker before it disappears and a large AoE with concentric rings spawns beneath them. This AoE will follow the player slowly for a time before freezing in place; after a few seconds, they explode to deal moderate damage. Marked players should move away from the group to bait their AoEs out of the group before returning after the AoEs are frozen.
Leg Shot Spawns multiple mine AoEs on the ground. Stepping into the small puddle AoE around it will deal heavy damage and apply Paralysis in a large AoE around them.
Ballistic Missile Marks players with large purple AoEs. Should be moved away from the group and avoid stacking together. Deals moderate damage. Can occur during other AoE attacks, such as Handgonne.

Advice and Tips

  • For Maintenance, note that the arena has been helpfully divided into a 4x4 platform with light blue tiles on the grey stone to make it easier to discern where attacks are coming from.
  • The first Maintenance will only use Orange Tethers, with the second using Blue Tethers. After that, it will combine usage of both Tethers for the remainder of the fight.
  • Make sure your gap during Analysis is facing the boss, and remember that he will move around the arena!

Attack Name Description
Shieldbearer Two pale yellow-white AoEs will spawn in the arena with a trio of shields floating above it. Standing in it will temporarily grant players the Duty Action Shieldbearer. Players do not need to remain in the AoE to be able to use the Duty Action. Using the Duty Action key will create a shield before the player, similar to the Paladin's Passage of Arms; players cannot move or use other actions while this is active or it will cancel the ability, but it can be reactivated immediately, and it only blocks damage from the front. Use to negate damage from Judgement Blade, Mortal Blow, and Divine Ruination.
Judgement Blade Deals heavy damage and knocks the player back while applying a Vulnerability stack. Use Shieldbearer to avoid damage entirely.
Thunder Slash Tankbuster. Marks the MT with a red arrow marker before shooting out a massive conal AoE that deals heavy damage. Players should avoid standing in front.
Divine Light Moderate alliance-wide AoE damage.
Cleansing Blade Marks multiple players with large pink AoEs. Marked players should move away from the group and spread out to avoid hitting others and avoid stacking. Deals moderate damage.
Cleansing Strike Targets one alliance with large markers over their heads and stuns them while summoning a portal in the center of the platform. The marked alliance will be pulled into the portal after a few seconds and receive a very long Doom debuff. Inside, they will need to kill waves of Tainted Souls and Taintless Souls. Players need to kill all of the waves before the Doom debuff wears off to prevent death.
  • Tainted Soul: Black ghosts. Move toward the purple portal in the center of the room from the edges; if they are not killed before they reach the center, they will explode, dealing moderate damage and applying a Vulnerability stack to all players inside.
  • Taintless Soul: White ghosts. These ones are stationary and will begin casting Dark Flare immediately after spawning. Can only be killed through the use of Swordbearer.
Swordbearer Large blue-purple AoEs will spawn in the arena with a trio of swords floating above it. Standing in it will temporarily grant players the Duty Action Swordbearer. Players do not need to remain in the AoE to be able to use the Duty Action. Using the Duty Action key will allow the player to use a frontal cleave ability that deals excessive damage to certain targets and no damage to others. Intended to use on the Taintless Souls and Halidoms.
Consecration Happens during the Cleansing Strike phase. Traps one alliance in Halidom crystals that can only be killed through the use of Swordbearer. The remaining free alliance needs to pick up the Swordbearer Duty Action and free their fellow alliance members before the Northswain's Strike AoEs go off.
Hallowed Bolt Marks two players with a large red arrow marker. After a few seconds, they will be targeted for either a large AoE or a massive donut AoE centered on them. After another few seconds, the remaining AoE will appear, meaning players will need to either move extremely far away or bounce between the safe spot around the edge of the large AoE before moving into the hole in the donut AoE or vice versa.
Holy Blade Gauge The boss will move to the center and become invulnerable as she begins channeling the Holy Blade gauge. Three adds will spawn: two Sword Knights to either side of her, and one Shield Knight in front of the entrance. Shieldbearer AoEs will appear; players should pick these up immediately in preparation for upcoming attacks. After a short while, Swordbearer AoEs will also spawn. All Knights must die before the gauge fills or the alliance will wipe.
Knights Happens during the Holy Blade phase.
  • Sword Knight: Will use Mortal Blow, a massive AoE centered on them. Can use Shieldbearer to avoid damage.
  • Shield Knight: Will summon multiple Emblazoned Shields that tether to him, preventing him from taking damage until they are killed. the Shields can only be damaged through the use of Swordbearer.
Heavenly Judgement Deals damage based on the charge of the Holy Blade Gauge.
Divine Ruination Marks random players with a purple arrow marker and a purple tether. After a few seconds, Agrias will shoot out conal AoEs from her center to the tethered players. Players can use Shieldbearer to avoid any damage.

Advice and Tips

  • Cleansing Strike appears to always target Alliance C the first time, followed by A and then B and continues to rotate through that, even after a wipe.
  • Make sure to pick up Shieldbearer when it spawns as it is always going to be necessary to use when it spawns to avoid massive damage.

Attack Name Description
Dark Rite Numerous Summoning Circles will appear in a ring around the arena and requires 3-4 players to stand in them at the same time to lock the Circle and prevent it from spawning an add at the end of the Dark Rite cast. Players must stand in it at the same time, but can move out after it locks to a new circle.

Advice and Tips

  • Make sure to stand with players in the Summoning Circles during Dark Rite to avoid extra mobs to kill during the fight.

To start off this fight, alliances should use their alliance's waymarker to claim two circular platforms for themselves by placing the marker between two platforms or by placing it on one platform and claiming a platform to either side. For the second option, most alliances choose to claim the one to their left as their secondary platform. This is exceptionally important as both platforms will be used for various attacks that cannot overlap or they will wipe the alliance.
Attack Name Description
T.G. Holy Sword The boss will use his swords for various unmarked AoEs with only tells in how they are positioned to help players determine what's coming up. Any attacks that hit the player will deal massive damage and inflict them with a Vulnerability stack.
  • Platform Smash: All three swords are horizontal and pointed directly outwards above a single platform; this will alternate, leaving a safe platform between each targeted platform. If a sword is positioned over the platform players are standing in, they must immediately move to their secondary platform to avoid taking massive damage.
    • Occasionally, he will target a single platform in this way and then target the platforms to either side of it as the cast continues, hitting that entire half of the arena with an AoE and forcing at least one alliance to move onto another alliance's platforms.
  • Donut AoE: The swords at the boss' front are slammed into the ground. Players must move inside of his hitbox to avoid taking massive damage.
  • Regular AoE: The swords are horizontal but not positioned over a platform, instead kind of angled towards the front of the boss in an almost resting pose. Players must move to the outer edge of their platform to avoid the massive AoE.
Cleansing Strike Brings all players to 1 HP and inflicts them with a 15-second Doom debuff. Everyone must be healed to full before this debuff falls off or they will die. After full healing, the debuff will go away on its own. Each alliance should stack in their platform to allow for easy AoE heals by their healers, especially for White Mage's potent Cure III.
Shadowblade Marks 1 (2 later in the fight) player from each alliance with a massive red-rimmed AoE and a black marker over their heads. Marked player should move to the very back of the platform or, in the case of 2 marked players per alliance, have one player shuffle to their secondary platform and drop the AoE along the back of the platform. Once the AoE marker fades, players should immediately move away from it as it deals heavy damage to players standing in the tiny bubble AoE. It will continue to grow larger until it is the same size as the original AoE that marked the player. If any of these AoEs touch, they will explode and deal massive alliance-wide damage and apply a Bleed debuff.
Crush Helm Tankbuster that targets the tank of each alliance. Hits the tanks 4 times during the cast, with each hit applying a stack of Physical Vulnerability Up, which makes each hit of this ability hurt more and can be dispelled. When the cast finishes, it will hit the tank for massive damage, easily killing them if they aren't topped off and/or using shields.
Duskblade A purple circle will spawn on each platform inside the boss' hitbox. These circles require three players to be standing in it to negate the alliance-wide AoE effects. Groups will need to stand in the one on their platform and the one on their secondary platform. If there are not enough players standing in the circles, the boss will deal increased damage that can very easily kill you if 2 or more circles are missed.
Crush Weapon Targets a single player in each alliance with a black and red marker. After a few seconds, a large and very bright orange-red AoE will spawn beneath the player. After a moment it will go off, and then begin chasing the marked player for a total of 4 hits, each of which deals massive damage and applies a debuff that will force them to take extra damage. Standing in the AoE or too close to it is an easy death with 1-2 hits. After the orange AoE appears, the marked player should run away in a straight line as far as they can get away from it, preferably moving to their secondary platform and avoiding running over their group.
Coliseum Alliance-wide AoE damage while knocking all players high into the air, where they will land on a freshly conjured platform where Three Ephemeral Knights will spawn.
Swordplay Gauge Determines how much damage Balance Asunder does, with 100% being a wipe. Will charge until the Ephemeral Knights are killed or it fills.
Hallowed Bolt Only used during the Coliseum phase. Marks a player from each alliance with a large red arrow marker. After a few seconds, they will be targeted for either a large AoE or a massive donut AoE centered on them. After another few seconds, the remaining AoE will appear, meaning players will need to either move extremely far away or bounce between the safe spot around the edge of the large AoE before moving into the hole in the donut AoE or vice versa. Marked players should try to move to the edge of the arena before the AoEs drop to minimize the size of the AoE. Immediately followed by an obvious stack mechanic.
Divine Ruination Marks a player in each alliance with a purple arrow marker and a tether between them and their group's add. After a few seconds, the Ephemeral Knight will target the player with a long but thin line AoE. Tethered players should avoid standing in their group or pointing the AoE at other groups.
Balance Asunder Thunder God's ultimate. Deals more damage the higher the Swordplay Gauge is.
Crush Armor Marks a random player in each alliance with an orangish circle marker and a tether. Applies damage every few seconds and applies a Physical Vulnerability Up stack. This should be bounced between non-tank players.
Crush Accessory Covers the entire arena with a massive AoE except for small safe spots along the outer edge of each platform while summoning three Icewolf adds. It's safe to move around in the AoE area until the cast goes off; players should ensure they are not standing in it as it finishes as it will likely kill them. It will leave behind a layer of ice that significantly damages players standing in it.
Icewolf Appear during Crush Accessory. Begin casting Burst and must be killed before the cast finishes to avoid heavy damage.

Advice and Tips

  • There are a ton of mechanics that are exceptionally easy to die on or for only a few players to cause the entire alliance to wipe. However, all of these mechanics are also very easy to dodge once you understand how they work, making the fight much easier than it first appears.
  • Each alliance should assign 3 players to move to the secondary platform for Duskblade.
  • Make sure you know which platforms belong to your alliance and try not to "fight" your fellow runner when dealing with Shadowblade. If someone is closer to the secondary platform and is already moving there, let them move and go stand at the back of your alliance's main platform.
  • Remember that each tank is taking physical auto-attack damage constantly so they will need to be healed regularly. This also means they should not be picking up the tether from Crush Armor and that the auto-attack damage after Crush Helm and before the debuff wears off can be fatal.
  • Keep an eye on the swords while T.G. Holy Sword is cast so you know where to go.
    • Stabbed in ground: stand in hitbox.
    • Pointed directly outwards over platforms: move off of those platforms.
    • Horizontal but not really over a platform: move to the outer edge of the platform.

Ultima, The High Seraph

Ultima has 3 distinct phases. Upon reaching Phase 3, it counts as a checkpoint. If the alliance wipes after reaching this part of the fight, it will restart there when they return to try again.

Phase 1

Attack Name Description
Holy IV Targets random players with large AoEs. Deals heavy damage. During Auralight, it will drop both the AoEs and mark players with large purple AoEs that they will need to spread out to avoid hitting others while dodging the previous Holy AoEs.
Auralight Massive AoE centered on Ultima with three line AoEs that break the arena into ~3 triangular areas, with one large area, one medium area, and one small area. These line AoEs will make icy barriers that players can't cross, so ensure you are where you want to be before the AoEs go off. Immediately followed by Holy IV, which seems to target the largest density of players.
Grand Cross Three square AoEs will appear on the ground. After a few seconds, a giant shard will fall into its place, killing anyone standing in the AoE. After a short time the crystals will shoot out wide cross AoEs that extend across the entire platform. If you think of the platform as being a 4x4 rectangle, each crystal will land in a location where its line AoEs will not cross over another crystal (their line AoEs will overlap however). This will leave a single square safe spot for players to stand in.
Demi-Aquarius Summons Famfrit, who uses Dark Ewer, summoning multiple ewers spewing water that will move across the platform in a straight line. Easily avoidable. Uses Auralight during this.
Demi-Aries Summons Belias, who uses Time Eruption, summoning a series of clocks in a 3x3 grid on the platform. Players should stand on the squares with the slower ticking clocks, wait for the faster ones to go off, and then move into the new safe spot before the slow clocks explode. Uses Holy IV during this.
Demi-Leo Summons Hashmal, who uses Control Towers, summoning two towers in the middle of the platform. He will slice them, causing them to break in specific spots, and slide slightly in the direction they will fall. After a few seconds, they will fall the rest of the way, instantly killing anyone cause in their large line AoE.
Flare IV Marks two players with the large white triangular flare marker. Marked players need to move far away from both each other and any other players. After a few seconds, it will go off, dealing proximity damage to all players in range.

Advice and Tips

  • Try to avoid being stuck in the small triangle during Auralight, as often the Holy IV AoEs will target players in this smaller space, making it very hard to avoid.

Phase 2

Happens when Ultima is <50% HP. The boss will become invulnerable and use all 3 Demi abilities from Phase 1 in addition to those below.

Attack Name Description
Stack Markers Marks multiple players with red triangles. All marked players need to stack with at least one other marked player to avoid being knocked into the air and taking moderate damage.
Arrow Markers marks multiple players with red arrow markers. These players should spread out, as after a few seconds it will drop a large AoE on their position, which will go off another few seconds after.
Extreme Edge Used by Demi-Leo. He will appear at either the East or West, with one of his arms wreathed in flames. Players must move to the side that doesn't have the flaming arm, either North or South. After a few seconds, he will slam his arms down, dealing heavy damage to players on the side of his flaming arm and debuffing them.
Ultimate Illusion Ultima's ultimate. Any players not standing in the ghostly Barrier at the North end of the platform will be instantly killed and the platform outside the barrier will disappear. Requires massive healing for the upcoming stage.
Ruination Chomps through the Barrier, trying to break it. Must die before the Barrier bar depletes, or all players will die. Signals the start of Phase 3.

Advice and Tips

  • Healers need to be ready for some heavy healing after Ultimate Illusion, as all players will take constant damage until they kill the Ruination.

Phase 3

Reaching this phase counts as a checkpoint for the fight. If you wipe, you will return to this part of the fight when you start again. Uses multiple abilities from Phase 1.

Attack Name Description
Demi-Virgo Variations of this ability.
  • Spawns multiple untargetable adds on the edge of the arena, forming platform long line AoEs. Followed by Eastward/Westward March.
  • multiple circles will appear in a ring inside the arena, with an arrow pointing in the direction that the next circle will appear in. Players need to follow them and stand in the final circle, where they will "clash" with the falling add. If any are missed, the raid will be hit with heavy damage and afflicts all players with a Vulnerability stack. Completing it successfully grants a ~1 minute damage buff.
  • One add will spawn and tether to a random player, dealing continuous damage to them. Players that intercept the tether will be granted a ~1 minute damage buff.
Eastward/Westward March Causes all adds to move either to the East or West. For Demi-Virgo, what was previously an AoE will become a safespot. Also affects Grand Cross.
Redemption Tankbuster.
Embrace Multiple spiraling blue AoEs will appear on the platform for a few seconds before fading from view. If a player steps too close to them, they will engulf the player and anyone else in a large AoE around them, trapping them.
Maze The boss will go invulnerable and silence and knockback all players to the far end of the arena, summoning icy walls in the now pitch black arena that players must navigate. Also marks multiple players with Acceleration Bomb. The only way to regain your abilities is to stand in the lit patch of stone inside the boss' hitbox. Uses Holy IV and Flare IV
Acceleration Bomb A debuff with a variable time on it, up to ~12 seconds. When the timer ticks down to 4 seconds, a die will appear over the players head with an orbiting trail of orbs. Players can count down the seconds remaining on this debuff as the die will count down the remaining seconds. It will count down in this way until it hits zero, where it will explode. If the player is moving in any way, they will be hit for a large amount of damage. To avoid this, players must sheathe their weapons to prevent auto attacks and not use any spells/skills, and also refrain from even changing their target as that will move their head and count as movement.

Advice and Tips

  • If DPS is low, it is possible to have a second Maze phase.
  • Keep an eye on which Demi-Virgo move is up. If its the tiny circles, ensure that someone is following them and standing in the correct spots to prevent damage to the entire raid. Multiple players in the same spot is dangerous, as they will likely die to the damage if they don't have the "Clashing" debuff.
