Genus Description:
Those of the wandering races often find themselves at odds with even their own kind, whether these threats be from Imperials, cultists, heretics, or simple brigands. Many of these "species" are thus created not from a biological perspective, but from a game mechanic perspective for ease of classification.
The Garlean military is based on that of the Roman Empire. The imaginifer was a type of signifer, the standard-bearer in the Roman military. Signifer may be a play on words, as thaumaturges, being workers of magic and miracles, would instead be working with signs of the supernatural type.
