Omega-M & Omega-F
Divider3.png
This fight has 3 distinct phases, during which the boss will use the following moves and mechanics.

Phase 1

Attack Name Description
Solar Ray Tankbuster that hits in a medium AoE around the target.
Program Alpha spawns multiple AoEs under random players. Marks a random player for an obvious stack mechanic.
Efficient Bladework Used by Omega-M. Used during Program Alpha. Omega-M will leap to a random location on the platform and cast a large AoE centered on him.
Reconfiguration Unmarked ability. Omega will shift genders, alternating between Omega-M and Omega-F.
  • Omega-F: immediately after Reconfiguration, she will cast Discharger. Ensure you are stacked very close to her, with a large amount of space behind you.
  • Omega-M: immediately after Reconfiguration, he will cast Efficient Bladework without a telegraph. Ensure you are far away from him so you aren't hit.
Discharger Massive AoE that does a huge knockback to all players caught in it, likely knocking them off the platform. Deals light damage.
Optimized Fire III Used by Omega-F. Targets random players with large AoE circles. Deals heavy damage. Avoid stacking. Immediately followed by Optimized Blizzard III.
Optimized Blizzard III Used by Omega-F. Forms a large cross AoE under Omega-F. Sidestep to avoid.
Laser Shower Used by Omega-F. Raid-wide AoE dealing moderate damage.
Synthetic Blades Used by Omega-F. Turns her legs to blades. Allows her to use Superliminal Steel.
Superliminal Steel Used by Omega-F. Massive AoEs that take up the platform on either side of her. Deals heavy damage and gives players a Vulnerability stack.
Synthetic Shield Used by Omega-M. A shield will appear on his left arm. Allows him to use Beyond Strength.
Beyond Strength Used by Omega-M. Used during Program Alpha. After the initial AoEs go off, Omega-M will begin casting this, creating a massive donut AoE with the safe spot being a small circle in and around his hitbox. Followed by Efficient Bladework.

Advice and Tips

  • The fight will always start with Omega-M and alternate from there.
  • Make sure you adjust for Reconfiguration.

Phase 2

Starts when Omega's HP gets low in Phase 1.

Attack Name Description
Omega Goo One player will be marked with an obvious stack mechanic and another will be marked with a large purple AoE. After a few seconds, each will drop a puddle of goo on the targeted player, both of which will turn into either Omega-M or Omega-F. Players should spread these AoEs as far apart as they can and treat it like Reconfiguration. Move towards Omega-F to deal with the Discharge knockback while avoiding the Efficient Bladework AoE. Second time it's used signals the start of Phase 3.
Laser Shower Omega-M will move to the center of the room and create a shield similar to Passage of Arms, preventing Omega-F from taking any damage. At the same time, Omega-F will begin a very long Laser Shower cast. Players must kill Omega-M and then Omega-F before the cast goes off or they will die. Immediately followed by Omega Goo.

Advice and Tips

  • As the Omega Goo can be either Omega-M or Omega-F no matter the AoE, be ready to run towards Omega-F as soon as you can identify her.

Phase 3

Uses all abilities from Phase 1.

Attack Name Description
Firewall Applies a debuff to each player that prevents them from damaging a specific Omega form. If tanks receive the debuff for the one they are currently tanking, they will need to tankswap.
  • Packet Filter M: Blue debuff that prevents damage to Omega-M. Will affect 1 tank, 1 healer, and 2 dps.
  • Packet Filter F: Red debuff that prevents damage to Omega-F. Will affect 1 tank, 1 healer, and 2 dps.
Cosmo Memory Deals heavy raid-wide damage. After this point, the Omega's will need to be kept seperated as they will use Resonance. Allows use of
Resonance Allows Omega-M and Omega-F to deal increased damage when they are near each other. Keep them on opposite sides of the arena.
Optimized Sagitarius Arrow Used by Omega-M after Cosmo Memory. Creates a massive line AoE at a random player.
Optimized Meteor Used by Omega-F after Cosmo Memory. Targets each tank with a Flare marker before dropping a Meteor on them, dealing heavy damage in an AoE around them.
Optimized Blade Dance Tankbuster. Deals massive damage.
Death of an Omega When one of them dies, the other will begin to chain cast Laser Shower until it dies, avoiding use of any other abilities. Try to keep them both around the same HP% so they can die at the same time, unless your healers are okay with healing through the moderate damage of Laser Shower.

Advice and Tips

  • As you will be dealing with both at once, all their abilities will start to overlap, leaving much smaller safe spots to avoid attacks and many more things to dodge at once.
  • Make sure that the Death of an Omega happens when both are very low so you don't need to deal with the constant Laser Shower casts.
