Encyclopædia Eorzea ~The World of Final Fantasy XIV~ is a series of lore books compiled and written by the Final Fantasy XIV development team. It contains detailed information on all manner of lore, including characters, monsters, and geography.

Volume I[edit]
Originally released on December 27, 2016, the first volume includes information ranging from A Realm Reborn to Patch 3.3, covering Heavensward and its post-expansion patches. New copies of the book include a code for the Namingway minion.

Notes: Volume III was released December 19, 2023.
Thus far, no information about a third volume has been announced. In interviews about the game, Michael Christopher Koji Fox has described the amount of work that goes into creating the lore books, and implied that taking on another volume is something they can't handle at the moment.
Reprints[edit]
In July 2021, it was announced that Square Enix would be reprinting the English language volumes, which had gone out of print since the original release. While initially scheduled for April 21, 2022, the release of the reprints was then delayed until August 23, 2022.
