Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is the first expansion for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. It was announced at the 2014 Fan Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada with more information subsequently revealed at the London and Japanese Fan Festivals in the months after. It released on June 23rd, 2015 with a Mac version available the same day.
