|During the floods of the Sixth Umbral Calamity, refugees fled in droves to the highlands of Gyr Abania, fleeing the rising waters. In droves they came, having taken all that they could upon their carts as they traveled the mountain paths to the northeast. To their dismay, they found an arid wasteland awaiting them where drinkable water was scarce. Among these survivors was an Amdapori couple who wandered the mountains for days before finally coming upon a pair of freshwater lakes. Together, they drank of the lakes, but drowned and died. The caravans came across their bodies, recognizing the corpses as Grymm & Enid. The lakes bear their names to this day.
