He did not live to carry out his plans, as he was slain before his twenty-fifth summer, cut down by an unknown entity wielding the accursed blade Heartstrike. Niellefresne's life quenched, his corpse lingered on, curiously immune to rot and decay. Died before the Calamity and he was the older brother of Colbernoux.
