The Mun-Tuy Cellars are a network of subterranean chambers beneath The Black Shroud, evidently of Gelmorran origin. The area is used as a brewery by present-day Gridanians, fermenting Mun-Tuy beans for extensive use in Gridanian cuisine.^[1]

Lore

Prior to the Calamity, the caverns were filled with dangerous fauna that made work difficult for the cellarkeeps and brewers, but the Order of the Twin Adder have since purged the tunnels of infestation.^[2] The brewery is responsible for fermenting Min-Tuy beans for use in various culinary efforts, primarily Mun-Tuy sauce, a condiment^[3], and Mun-Tuy Brew, an alcoholic beverage famed for instilling men with courage.^[4]

Etymology
The name "Mun-Tuy" is very similar to names such as Toto-Rak and Tam-Tara, suggesting that it may be of Padjali origin.

Notes
The original cellars were destroyed in the Calamity; this incarnation is a new brewery bearing the same name.^[5]
