I've trained the men up as well as can be hoped. Haven't gone easy on them. Drilled them on every maneuver I can think of. But there's no way to know what will happen in the field, even so.
Pity about the sky, truly. But I'm trying to focus on what I can do─and that's training our recruits well enough that they don't die.
