Doman Reconstruction

Donation Basket.pngIntroduced in Patch 4.3, players can donate unneeded items to help supply and finance the reconstruction of the Doman Enclave. The reconstruction is unlocked upon completion of the It Takes an Enclave sidequest.

Donations are made by interacting with the Donation Basket Donation Basket in the Shazenkai area. In exchange for items donated, players will receive a gratuity that amounts to more (120%-200%) than what would normally be received when selling said items to a vendor. The enclave has a limited weekly budget of 20,000 gil, which resets every week on Tuesday at 1:00 a.m. (PDT). Items donated by mistake can be reclaimed from a nearby Reclamation Box, incurring a small transaction fee, which holds the prior 100 donated items.

  • If you wish to reclaim an item, we strongly advise you do so immediately, as any items in the reclamation box will be removed and rendered irretrievable upon logging out or changing areas.

As players continue to make contributions, the enclave will grow and change over time. Periodically, players will be asked to speak to various members of the enclave to understand its history and reconstruction. You will speak to Mitsuba, Kozakura, Tsuranuki, Araragi, Ihase, Minazuki, Mauto and Ishibushi.

After donating approximately 50,000 gil, you will obtain the Bio-Doma I achievement, and after 110,000 gil the Bio-Doma II achievement, as well as unlocking access to the Junkmonger (Doman Enclave). Typically, a new cut-scene will be shown after each donation of 5,000 to 15,000 gil.

As of patch 4.4, you can donate a total of 250,000 to the effort.
