Raging Strikes is an instant, off-GCD ability that grants a 20% increase to Damage Dealt for 20 seconds. It has a cooldown of 3 minutes, so it's important to time it for maximum usefulness.

Venomous Bite an on-GCD attack and your first Damage Over Time (DOT) ability, dealing direct damage of 100 potency when applied and hitting the enemy for an additional 35 potency every time a server tick processes (every 3 seconds) for the next 9 seconds (3 ticks per application for a total of 235 potency). Much like how you want Straight Shot applied to yourself at all times, you want Venomous Bite applied to the enemy at all times.

Misery's End is an instant, off-GCD ability that deals direct damage of 190 potency, but can only be used when the enemy is below 20% health. Being that it is an instant with its own cooldown, you should use this as often as possible by weaving it in between two GCD abilities.
From now on, all Straight Shot attacks will come with a 20% chance to activate Straight Shot as a combo, guaranteeing that it will hit for critical damage and refresh your buff. With the guaranteed critical hit, using Straight Shot is more powerful than Heavy Shot, but using the combo every single time it comes up will become a TP-drain in longer fights, causing your overall encounter DPS to suffer if you run low.

Shadowbind is an instant, off-GCD ability that binds one target in place for 10 seconds. Because the attack itself deals no damage, the recast is 40 seconds, and the bind is broken if the target takes futher damage, Shadowbind is only useful for making a quick escape from a single target or to assist in kiting.
