Attribute

Affects physical damage dealt by gladiator's arms, marauder's arms, pugilist's arms, lancer's arms, conjurer's arms, thaumaturge's arms, arcanist's arms, dark knight's arms, samurai's arms, gunbreaker's arms, red mage's arms, astrologian's arms, and blue mage's arms.

Point allotment gained while leveling can be used to enhance strength.

Increasing a character's Strength will have the following effects:

Increases melee attack power.

Previous Effects

Prior to Patch 3.0, Strength used to have an effect on Parry and Block Rate.
Prior to Patch 2.0, Strength used to have an effect on the following:
- Increased chance of creating an HQ item when using:
  - Blacksmith's primary tool.
  - Armorer's secondary tool.
- Increased performance of Botanist gathering.
