| Foremost of the many academies of Sharlayan, the Studium was founded in 432 of the Sixth Astral Era by the first Archons to be recognized in the nation's history—named in honor of Nyunkrepf Nyunkrepfsyn, the nation's founder and one of the Twelve Archons of the Fifth Astral Era. Instructing pupils in everything from aetherial studies to astromancy, it encourages the study of both the arcane and the occult, and has produced a great many Archons over the ages. The Studium has also made numerous discoveries that have helped Eorzea as well, including the lost secrets of travel by aetheryte. |
