Prerequisities

• Disciple of Hand or Land at Level 90.
• Completion of Endwalker and The Crystalline Mean.
• Access to the Boutique of Splendors by speaking with Mowen in Eulmore.

Crystalline (iLvl 620)

This questline starts in The Crystarium where you can find Chora-Zoi with the An Original Improvement quest.
After completing the quest, speak with Chora-Zoi to begin A Dedicated Tool.

In order to complete this quest, you must use the Splendorous tool received from the Splendorous Coffer at the end of An Original Improvement to augment your tool and upgrade into a Crystalline tool.

How this is achieved varies based on whether your tool is a Disciple of the Hand or Disciple of the Land tool.

This process is repeatable: once An Original Improvement is completed, additional Splendorous tools can be purchased from Quinnana for 1,500 white scrips.

Disciple of the Hand

Disciples of the Hand must obtain Splendorous Components to augment their Splendorous tool, then obtain Adaptive Components to upgrade their Augmented Splendorous Tools to Crystalline Tools. In total, 60 Splendorous Components and 90 Adaptive Components are required for this step. Splendorous Components are obtained by turning in Collectable Connoisseur's products. The Connoisseur's products require Select materials, which cost 50 White Scrips each. To obtain the appropriate amount of Splendorous Components and Adaptive Components, you must create a minimum of 50 products, for a total cost of 2500 White Scrips.

Augment Tool

Speak to Chora-Zoi to begin A Dedicated Tool. Disciples of the Hand must craft collectable Connoisseur's items using their Splendorous tool. These products are traded to Quinnana in exchange for Splendorous Components to augment and upgrade their tool. You can obtain up to 3 Splendorous Components for products with a Collectability rating of 900.

These products each require one Select material which can be purchased from Scrip Exchange vendors for 50 White Scrips, as well one other material to create. Each tool requires 60 Splendorous Components total, so you must craft a minimum of 20 products with a Collectability rating of 900, and each tool costs a minimum of 1000 White Scrips to complete. When finished, return to Chora-Zoi to obtain your Augmented Splendorous Tool.

Crystalline Tool

Speak to Chora-Zoi to begin An Adaptive Tool. Disciples of the Hand must craft collectable Connoisseur's items using their Augmented Splendorous tool. These products are traded to Quinnana in exchange for Adaptive Components to augment and upgrade their tool. You can obtain up to 3 Adaptive Components for products with a Collectability rating of 1100.

These products each require one Select material which can be purchased from Scrip Exchange vendors for 50 White Scrips, as well two other materials to create. Each tool requires 90 Adaptive Components total, so you must craft a minimum of 30 products with a Collectability rating of 1100, and each tool costs a minimum of 1500 White Scrips to complete. When finished, return to Chora-Zoi to obtain your Crystalline Tool.

Disciple of the Land

Disciples of the Land must venture into the world to gather Connoisseur's items. These items are turned in to Quinnana to augment and upgrade their tool. Miners and Botanists must gather Collectable Connoisseur's items as well as hidden items. Fishers need only gather Collectable catches, however they must also purchase Select Bait Balls from Quinnana for 5 White Scrips each to use as bait for their catches. Finally, like Disciples of the Hand, the gathering for Disciples of the Land must be done using their Splendorous Tool.

Augment Tool

Speak to Chora-Zoi to begin A Dedicated Tool. Disciples of the Land must gather collectable Connoisseur's items as well as Splendorous hidden items using their Splendorous tool. These products are traded to Quinnana in exchange for Splendorous Components to augment and upgrade their tool. For Miner and Botanist, you can obtain up to 3 Splendorous Components for products with a collectability rating of 1000. For Fisher, it's a variable amount depending on the fish; please see the respective fish page for details.

Components can be obtained from Quinnana, requiring a minimum of 60 Connoisseur's Collectables. Fishers must gather a minimum of 30 Collectable fish of each type. When finished, return to Chora-Zoi to upgrade your Splendorous Tool.

Crystalline Tool

Speak to Chora-Zoi to begin An Adaptive Tool. Disciples of the Land must gather collectable Connoisseur's items as well as Adaptive hidden items using their Augmented Splendorous tool. These products are traded to Quinnana in exchange for Adaptive Components to augment and upgrade their tool. For Miner and Botanist, you can obtain up to 3 Adaptive Components for products with a collectability rating of 1000. For Fisher, it's a variable amount depending on the fish; please see the respective fish page for details.
