Containment Bay P1T6.png
History tells of a Meracydian nation comprised of a multitude of races, the foundations of which were built on the worship of a single deity. The “Goddess,” as she was simply known, graced the souls of her worshipers with perfect equilibrium, binding their disparate societies in gilded chains of harmony.

In the present day, she is better known as Sophia, one of the incalculably powerful eikons of the Warring Triad. And after five thousand years of imprisonment, her failed plans for vengeance once more threaten to come to fruition. Defeat the wakened thralls and slay the stirring Goddess, lest her divine “balance” bring all the world to equal ruin!

Sophia has 3 distinct phases, during which she uses the following moves and mechanics.

Phase 1

Attack Name Description
Aero II Large AoE centered on the boss. Deals moderate damage. Immediately followed by Thunder III.
Thunder III Massive donut AoE centered on the boss, with the safe spot inside her hitbox or at max range.
Daughter Sophia's floating head mount will vanish from beneath her and reappear along one of the edges of the arena. After a few seconds, it will fire a massive line AoE (a little less than half the arena) across the platform.
Sophia Rush Sophia will leap away, reappearing at one of the lengthwise parts (East or West) of the platform. After a few seconds, she will charge across the arena in a massive line AoE that takes up half of the platform. Stand on whichever side of the platform she is not going to charge across to avoid damage.
Proximity Markers Multiple proximity AoEs will spawn under players feet. Move as far as possible to avoid being hit with excessive damage. Players can stack to avoid having to move very far.

Advice and Tips

  • Make sure you're not standing in the path of the Daughter or Sophia Rush.

Phase 2

Add phase.

Attack Name Description
Cloudy Heavens Signals the start of this phase. Marks all players with the Eternal Doom debuff. If the adds are not killed before this debuff wears off, it will be a wipe.
Eternal Doom If a player takes fatal damage while under this effect, they will instead become a zombie and move to and attack the nearest player.
The First Demiurge Paladin add. Ocassionally uses a directional parry skill that will knockback players who hit the wrong side. Be careful of AoEs. Should be killed last.
The Second Demiurge Healer add. Uses a gaze mechanic that will confuse any players looking at it and will heal the other adds. Should be killed first.
The Third Demiurge Lancer add. Wil drop an ice puddle on the ground, so try to keep it away from the center where everything is being killed until then.

Advice and Tips

  • Adds should be killed in this order: Second Demiurge > Third Demiurge > First Demiurge.

Phase 3

Sophia will use all mechanics found in Phase 1 in addition to the ones below. Please note that it is now possible to fall off the arena; players that do so will die, but can be ressurected.

Attack Name Description
Quasar While casting this, Sophia will have multiple tethers attached to the East and West. Each tether will spawn a meteor in the scales on the edges of the arena. Players are meant to determine which is the safe side to stand on based on the weight/value of the meteors. If there is a difference of 1 between the weights on each side, it will be a "soft" tilt, meaning that players will only slide a short way. If it has a difference of 2, it will be a "hard" tilt, meaning players will slide a long way. The easiest way to deal with this mechanic is run to the side opposite the Blue Meteor.
  • Orange Meteor: has a value equal to 1. Can appear on both sides.
  • Blue Meteor: has a value equal to 3. Will only appear on one side.
The Second Demiruge Sophia will spawn another of these when she has low health (~15%). Uses the same abilities, but does not heal the boss. Should be killed quickly so players don't need to worry about the gaze attack, unless the boss is dying quickly, then the OT can move the add away so players don't need to worry about dodging it.

Advice and Tips

  • To start off this phase, Sophia will tilt the arena to the West and then the East, causing players to slide in those directions. Try to avoid standing where you will be knocked into the Third Demiurge's ice puddle.
  • Quasar is extremely easy: Just ensure you are running to the side OPPOSITE any Blue Meteors or move to the side with the least amount of tethers.
