Omega (Raid)

Introduction[edit]

The "end-game" raid of Stormblood, players will have to deal with the alien Omega and its attempts to create a worthy challenge for it to fight.

Omega is split up into various sections, which are further split up into various wings for players to enter: Deltascape, Sigmascape, and Alphascape. Each section of Omega has Normal (Story) modes and Savage modes. (Savage modes are a much harder version which offer stronger rewards.) Each successive fight in Omega requires players to complete the previous wing and a quest, the quest chain starting with The Hunt for Omega.

Token Explanation[edit]

Normal Omega does not drop equippable gear. Instead, you will receive tokens that you must trade to an NPC located in Rhalgr's Reach in order to actually receive your gear. The number of tokens needed per slot is the same throughout the different sections.

Savage Difficulty[edit]

In order to unlock each section's Savage difficulty, you must complete all of the normal difficulty wings for the equivalent section and the quests for those wings. (ie: To unlock Deltascape V1.0 (Savage), you must beat all of Deltascape and the quest The Anomaly.) All the Savage modes for each section are unlocked after completing the quest, but each wing must also be beaten in turn to unlock access to the next Savage fight.

Savage Loot[edit]

Unlike Normal/Story difficulty, Savage difficulty raids DO drop actual loot. They also drop a Datalog page, which is used to purchase the same gear (useful if your job's gear does not drop, but you acquire the right number of Datalog pages to purchase one separately.)

  • Please see each individual wing's page for the specific loot received, as it is too numerous to list in the tables below.
